With the weather getting cooler, we decided that it's time to go back to Joshua Tree, besides, it's a shorter day if you have other important things you need to do back at home, like take a nap.
Being a creature of habit, we head over to Echo Rock and go for a warm-up climb on Double Dip, always a favorite.

After climbing Double Dip we moved down the rock to Stichter Quits 5.8, also known as Black Tide (I think a more elegant name) and climbed it.

We decided it was time to move on to something else, so we headed over to Cyclops Rock and noticed that no-one was climbing the Eye route. The Eye 5.3 is an easy climb, but special and certainly one of my favorites.

We then called it a day so we could get back to our busy productive lives. The only drawbacks to the day were that we didn't have more time (Roy also says energy) and defacing of Cyclops with graffiti.

Nice. I so wanted to go to J Tree today but kids kept me at home. Glad someone had fun up there.
